Alexandra is a provisional psychologist currently completing her final year of training in a Master of Professional Psychology Practice and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Psychology Board of Australia. Alexandra has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), Graduate Diploma of Psychology, and Master of Professional Psychology. Alexandra can offer counselling, cognitive assessments, and educational assessments at a reduced rate.
Alexandra has a knowledge of mental health disorders across the lifespan, ranging from young children to adults. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families with a wide range of mental health problems. Alexandra works from an evidence-based perspective, with training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy. Alexandra has also completed Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) training with her Groodle, Chudley, who will join her at Mullum Road Clinic.
Alexandra enjoys working with individuals of all ages, with a specific interest in working with children and their families to manage and better cope with an array of mental health challenges and developmental disorders.
