Autism (ASD) – Teen Social Group

A new Autism (ASD) Teen Social Group started in March 2016 and is aimed to support ASD teens in social settings. Held every third Sunday of each month in the eastern suburb of Melbourne – Kilsyth, between 5pm and 8pm and is organised through Interchange Outer East. It is at the Kilsyth Club, cnr Colchester and Canterbury Rds, Kilsyth.

20160817_125606 (3)The group caters for high functioning autism (ASD) teens aged between 13 – 18 years old and still attending secondary school. You will be able to meet in a relaxed, social setting and meet new friends with common interests.  It is also an opportunity for parents to meet, chat and obtain information.
Some previous activities have included board games, computer games and sharing a meal together.
