Dr Kaileen Pearson is a very experienced psychologist who is warm, practical, professional and caring. Her experience includes helping people with depression, anxiety, stress, relationships, life changes, grief, trauma and work difficulties etc.. She has also specialised in rehabilitation - assisting people to manage, reduce and function better with chronic pain or chronic illness. As a clinician, researcher, project worker (KidsMatter), University lab tutor, supervisor and (acting) team leader she has worked with children, teens, families, adults, students, other workers, and organisations.

Kaileen always comes back to counselling with people as she enjoys this the most. She is trained in individual, group and family therapy, as well as couple counselling, hypnosis and mediation. As needed, she uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness training, self-compassion therapy, goal achievement coaching, and animal assisted therapy, as well as other therapies. Kaileen strives to be, not just accepting, but positive and affirming of diversity; including autistic or ADHD children, adolescents and adults, and with people from the LGBTQIA+ community.

Kaileen is registered with AHPRA, Medicare, TAC and Workcover.
