Emily is a provisional psychologist who is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA). She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Emily has recently completed a Masters of Professional Psychology at Monash University.
For the past three years, Emily has worked in a school for children with Autism while studying. In particular, Emily works to obtain Autism and Severe Behaviour Disorder funding for students through the Program for Students with Disabilities. While completing her final year of training, Emily hopes to become proficient in autism assessments and cognitive assessments.
Emily has training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Mindfulness. She takes a person-centred approach and places emphasis on developing a therapeutic relationship with the client. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, gardening and playing with her pet greyhound Brodie.
