Jennifer is a fully registered psychologist who holds a Master of Professional Psychology Practice. She is a provider of Psychological services with Medicare, a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
During her studies of psychology, she gained 8 years of experience working in early intervention as an Applied Behavioural Analysis therapist with children and adolescents, including those that identified as being on the Autism Spectrum. Within this role, she assisted young individuals, their families, and schools with behavioural and academic difficulties.
Jennifer has experience working with all ages - children, adolescents and adults. She has worked in a variety of workplaces, including Educational and Community settings.
Jennifer places a high importance on developing a good rapport with her clients and providing a warm and empathic response to concerns. She is able to assess, diagnosis and treat mental health issues. Jennifer is passionate about providing evidence-based therapies and draws on a variety of psychological approaches to facilitate supportive change, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing.
Jennifer has a special interest in helping children and adolescents to manage and better cope with an array of mental health challenges and developmental disorders.
