Jess is a provisional psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi). Jess has completed her Master of Professional Psychology (MPP).

Jess has a range of experiences and worked as a disability support worker for several years supporting families with physical disabilities, as well as providing a range of supports for mental health. In addition, Jess has worked as an integration aide in a school providing a range of supports to neurodivergent primary school-aged children. Jess has spent her time of placement for her 5th year at university at a primary school where she provided one-on-one play and talk therapy to children. Jess has had experience working with presentations of anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, work stress, relationship difficulties, grief, loss, autism, ADHD, giftedness, and twice-exceptionality (2e). Jess is passionate about advocating for all her clients. For her clients in the education system, Jess works collaboratively and within the multidisciplinary support team for the client, to ensure the client is nurtured and supported in a trauma-informed and neuro-affirming approach.

Jess is a neuro-affirming psychologist passionate about supporting all her clients through the social disability model and utilising the strengths-based model and strongly believes that an individual thrives when they have a strong sense of identity. In addition, Jess has a strong interest in providing support and assessments for autism, ADHD, giftedness, and twice-exceptionality. Jess uses a neuro-affirming, holistic, client-led approach and provides a warm, safe, and comfortable environment. Jess creates a space where the client can be authentic and free to express themselves however they need. Jess also provides a space where the client's sensory needs can be met, and if there is something the client needs to feel safe and comfortable, Jess will support that.

Jess loves all things colourful and dresses to express herself through bright and colourful clothes, as it makes her feel happy. Jess has a deep love for animals, especially her miniature schnauzers Mavis and Albert, whom she spends lots of time walking and cuddling. In addition, Jess loves reading, is an avid cook and loves being out in nature.

Jess utilises a range of interventions based on the individual client's needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectal Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, and Play Therapy.
