Master of Art Therapy, B.A. (Psychology and HR), EMDR therapist.

Karin has been a registered art therapist since 2012 after completing her Masters at Latrobe University, and has a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and HR). Karin is a member of ANZACATA the professional body governing art therapists.

Karin trained recently in EMDR therapy which has been endorsed by The WHO as a proven treatment for trauma and PTSD.

Since obtaining her Masters in Art Therapy, Karin has been working in the community mental health sector providing individual art therapy as well as providing group art therapy. Karin draws on multiple modalities and medium in her work. She provides a safe and non-judgemental space for exploration of issues presenting the individual.

Karin is continually building her “tool box” in her treatment of clients and will shortly be undertaking sand tray therapy and water therapy which will compliment her work in art therapy especially for those on the autistic spectrum and those who have trouble regulating their emotions.

Karin has a special interest in mental health and in particular BPD and DID. She is also passionate about communities having access to services and can do outreach work if required.

Although unable to claim the Medicare rebate, Karin is an approved NDIS provider of art therapy under therapeutic supports. Karin has been working in the NDIS space over the past year.
