Keshia Aickin
Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Keshia is an Occupational Therapist (OT) registered with AHPRA and has a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice from La Trobe University. She has multiple years’ experience working in the private practice space and can provide services to privately funded clients, and plan or self-managed NDIS participants.
Warm, playful and compassionate, Keshia is dedicated to creating safe spaces where children and
families feel supported to be their authentic selves while working towards their goals. She loves
incorporating individual interests and passions into her sessions to make therapy engaging,
meaningful and tailored to what truly motivates each child.
Keshia values collaboration and genuine connection, believing that meaningful progress happens
when children and families feel seen, heard, and supported. She strives to create an environment
built on trust, allowing each person to feel supported to grow and thrive in their own unique way.
Guided by the belief that “behaviour is communication,” Keshia approaches each individual with
curiosity and compassion, seeking to understand the ‘why’ behind their behaviour in a non
judgemental way and working alongside families to celebrate neurodiversity, honour individual
differences and create supportive environments where every child can thrive.
Outside of her clinical work, Keshia feels most at home in nature – spending her spare time camping
and exploring. She also loves reading, visiting op shops and playing with her dog Kenny.
