Lucie Young
Provisional Psychologist

Lucie is a provisional psychologist with a background as an experienced secondary school teacher and tertiary level tutor. She has an interest in providing cognitive and educational assessments that highlight the individual’s pattern of strengths and difficulties, and has experience in assessing a range of conditions including Specific Learning Disorders. Lucie also has experience in providing Functional Behaviour Assessments in the preschool and school environment, as well as group interventions for kindergarten and primary-aged children.

As a parent to a neurodivergent child, Lucie is particularly interested in supporting parents with understanding their child’s unique needs, and advocating for neurodiversity more broadly. Channelling her inner kindergarten teacher, Lucie enjoys play-based therapeutic interventions with younger children, and incorporates CBT and mindfulness approaches with all ages. In her spare time, Lucie likes going to the farm with her family, and snuggles with her cats Juno and Andrew (who sadly prefer to stay at home).
