Morgaine is an experienced and empathetic Art Therapist who specialises in working with children and adolescents.
She takes a holistic, child-centred and trauma-informed approach to her work, providing safe and inclusive environments for young people to creatively express themselves without fear, shame or judgement.
She has completed additional training in Trauma Informed Yoga, Child Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Critical Incident Stress Management which have furthered her Art Therapy practice.
Morgaine understands that the complexities of childhood and adolescence can be overwhelming and are often beyond words. She uses Art Therapy to empower young people facing challenges and supports them to develop an authentic sense of self that is rooted in self-worth.
Her empathetic nature allows her to work gently with young people who have often been diminished to a behaviour or diagnosis. She works alongside them as they develop their capacity to experience themselves as someone worthy of love and respect, and, with a bright future.
Morgaine believes Art Therapy should focus on the process and not the final product. She knows every young person is unique and so is their Art Therapy journey.
