Nicole is a clinical psychologist, passionate about supporting people of all ages and stages to thrive. Nicole has experience working in hospital, community and private practise settings with people from diverse communities and backgrounds. Prior to becoming a psychologist Nicole enjoyed many years in various support and management roles within the disability field.

Nicole is a curious, creative and collaborative psychologist who facilitates a safe and supportive environment where people’s unique strengths and qualities are celebrated and built upon.  Nicole’s aim is to support you to explore, discover, challenge yourself and take steps towards crafting a life that is meaningful to you. One where you can not only meet life’s challenges, but also flourish.

Nicole draws upon a range of therapeutic modalities to support this growth, depending on your needs and preferences. These may include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), mindfulness training, hypnotherapy and EMDR (adults only at this time). Nicole feels honoured to work alongside people presenting with a range of challenges and goals, whilst maintaining a particular interest in working with people who identify as neurodivergent, and people living with chronic illness.  All interactions with Nicole are fused with a healthy balance of lightness, compassion, stillness or movement as required, games of Spot It, and of course cat cuddles as desired. Nicoles therapy cat, Atticus, provides a calming presence and is happy to just sit back and add warmth to the room, or to participate in sessions more actively.

Outside of the clinic, Nicole enjoys spending the warmer months camping, bushwalking, creek dipping and enjoying all the beautiful flora and fauna around Nillumbik. During the cooler months you’ll find her jumping from one art and craft project to the next, keeping warm until the sun comes out again!
