With a background in work with international students, adolescents from regional and remote areas, and young people in foster care, Rachelle enjoys work with diverse clients and mental health conditions. She is completing a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology/ Doctor of Philosophy at Monash University and is a student member of the Australian Psychological Society. Her current research focuses on ethical decision making in therapeutic work with young people, research which she aims to continue. Her previous research considered wellbeing of young women, a group that she is passionate about working with.

Rachelle provides assessment for learning, neurodevelopmental, emotional and behavioural presentations, from difficulties to giftedness. She promotes a solution focus and strengths-based approach in her work, which separates the problem from the person. Her main techniques are drawn from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Rachelle and her therapy dog Barney look forward to working with you toward your goals.
