With a background in music education, Tahli has over a decade of experience working with young people and adults across a variety of settings. As a psychologist, she has experience supporting children, adolescents and adults through transitions, as well as knowledge of assessment and counselling approaches for common mental health conditions. Aiming to foster a collaborative approach to therapy, Tahli strives to create a compassionate and non-judgemental space for clients, with the goal of supporting each individual to meet their full potential.
Tahli is experienced in the assessment of common mental health conditions including Specific Learning Disorders (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Dyscalculia), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), mood disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Tahli has a special passion for assessment and understanding the presentation of ASD in girls and women.
Tahli uses a range of therapeutic approaches based upon the needs of the individual, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Play Therapy. Having studied a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology, she is a registered psychologist holding membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian Psychology Society (APS).
