Tess has a keen interest in animal welfare and created the Australian Animal Protection Societies (AAPS) website some 20 years ago. She has also fostered many puppies and dogs for the AAPS.

Tess has newly acquired a therapy dog named Milo. He was surrendered to the pound just before Christmas. A wonderful organisation named Starting over Rescue saved him from his ill awaited fate as he was not coping in the pound environment.  Tess had been waiting for the perfect rescue dog to join the Mullum Road Clinic team.  Tess also has a Rottweiler rescue named Sasha, but she is a little old to train for AAT.   Details about Milo the Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) Dog - in training, are available on the Therapy Dog Page.

Outside of Psychology, Tess runs her own accommodation business located on the Mornington Peninsula and raises her two gorgeous children.
