Thomas is a provisional psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). He is currently completing the 4+2 internship after completing a master of counselling, and is a student member of AAPi.

Thomas has a background in adolescent counselling from previous roles as a school counsellor, as well as a background in positive behaviour support giving him experience in a wide range of ages and presentations, such as anxiety, depression, and psychosis, to ADHD and Autism Spectrum. Thomas has training in both cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and incorporates elements of mindfulness as well as these therapeutic styles into his sessions.

Working with adolescents in a school setting and NDIS participants has given Thomas an appreciation for the effect that a positive support network can have on assisting a person with their mental health problems, and aims to work with families and support teams to find ways to bring about positive change in a person’s life.
