Thomas is a provisional psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). He is currently completing the final parts of his 4+2 internship after completing a master of counselling, and is a student member of AAPi.

Thomas has been practicing in mental health since 2021, as a school counsellor, before moving into behaviour support, then private practice at Mullum Road Clinic as a provisional psychologist. He has a background in adolescent counselling as well as positive behaviour support, giving him experience in working with a wide range of ages and presentations, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, and anger. Thomas has specific training in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and incorporates elements of other therapeutic styles into his practice.

Thomas has a passion for working with his clients in creative ways to achieve their goals through incorporating as many of their own interests into sessions, as well as utilising specific techniques from other therapeutic styles, such as Narrative Therapy and Music Therapy. He also has a passion for the creative arts, and the therapeutic benefits of martial arts, and utilises these skills where appropriate.

Working alongside Thomas in session are his two Guinea Pigs, Brie and Gouda. They assist Thomas in breaking through barriers his clients may have in expressing or understanding emotions, through watching their interactions during sessions, as well as in emotional regulation while processing difficult memories or feelings by giving them their favourite thing - food - and patting them while sitting in the client's lap.

Outside of the Clinic, Thomas has been involved in amateur theatre in the Eastern Suburbs since 2011, both performing and directing plays, and since 2015 has helped to organise and run a Youth Theatre in Ferntree Gully. From 2009-2020 he trained in TaeKwonDo, earning his Black Belt in 2019. His other passions are playing music (guitar, piano, and saxophone) and Dungeons and Dragons, the latter of which involves all of his favourite parts of acting and fantasy worlds.
